The Founder of GroupStudio
GroupStudio’s founder has a history that begins at one of Rome’s largest hotels, where he worked his way up to assistant manager.
Every day, the hotel hosted numerous groups of tourists, both adults and students, who often faced various kinds of tourist disservices.
From the delays of local tour guides to the poor quality of food in restaurants, from endless lines in front of museums and galleries to delays in transfer buses, 75 percent of the groups suffered one or more of these inconveniences.
This not only ruined their vacation experience, but also damaged the image of Italian hospitality due to the superficiality and inability of some tour operators.
To Alberto this did not seem right at all.
Driven by a desire to improve the situation, he enrolled in a course to become a technical director of a travel agency.
After three years of study and practice, he opened his own group travel agency in 1986.
Because of his prior experience and desire to create something new and fulfilling, he was able to surround himself with young, dynamic, and enthusiastic staff from other group travel agencies.
His business policy, based on total service satisfaction for groups, enabled him to establish himself in the market.
Today, GroupStudio is a reliable and consistent point of reference for a great many groups traveling in Europe, thanks to the commitment and dedication of its founder and team.
